Alina Sklar

Alina Sklar is a Canadian immigration lawyer and Legal Consultant in New York. She was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2016 and is recognized as one of Toronto’s top Canadian immigration practitioners for four consecutive years (2021–2024), as voted by her peers and community.

Alina has joined Investing Across Borders, where her practice focuses exclusively on Canadian immigration law. Known for her passion and relentless commitment to client success, Lauren leads a harmonized team of experts dedicated to helping entrepreneurs and investors invest, live, work, and play—across borders. A graduate of York University and Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, Canada, Lauren is now a dual citizen of Canada and the U.S. She has been featured in Inc., Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, NPR, Working Mother, and hundreds of interviews, podcasts, and TV and radio appearances.
